La Siesta – Calella De Palafrugell – Costa Brava – Spain
Camping La Siesta is idyllically situated amongst pine trees and close to the beautiful scenery, spectacular beaches and rocky coves of the Costa Brava. Camping in Costa Brava
An article in La Veu de Catalunya appeared in the early 1900s that named the area as the Costa Brava for its rugged coastline, and since considered as its birth certificate.
Figueres is a exquisite town, famed for the Dalí Museum, where you will find a remarkable collection of his surrealist work.
Gerona a beautiful, historic city, that is well worth exploring. Climb the monumental Baroque steps to the magnificent cathedral, and enjoy a spectacular view of the town from the bell tower.
Camping in the Costa Dorada
The Golden Coast, to give it its English translation, is a tourist area in north-east Spain that has more than 200km of coastline. Its golden beaches, coves, bays and crystal clear blue sea attracts holidaymakers from the rest of the Spain as well as from all over Europe every year.
The Costa Dorada’s best known resorts include Salou, Vilanova I la Geltru, La Pineda, L’Ametlla de Mar, Mont-roig del Camp and Cambrils.
