Estartit centres around an old traditional fishing port, but these days the harbour is mainly occupied by yachts and leisure craft. The pretty harbour has many port side restaurants and cafe bars where you can watch the world go by.

You can find a good selection of shops in the old cobbled streets and a lively market selling local goods and produce. In the evenings in the newer part of town you can find bars and discos, which stay open until the early hours.

Estartit is a great location for families and couples of all ages. The beach is safe for children and gently slopes into the Mediterranean.
